Stelios Kouniaris

49 year old Stelios Kouniaris is custodian of the Byzantine castle of Molyvos,
where the walls of the ticket-office are covered with his paintings,
which he refers to as ‘his children’.
Much of his work, in a naive style reminiscent of Theophilos, depicts scenes in and around the castle.
He has had exhibitions in Molyvos and Athens,
and many of his paintings have been reproduced as postcards and prints.
